Our story

Muchana began working in 2010, building its skills, team and reputation project by project. On 5 June 2024 the business was formally incorporated as Muchana Engineering – SMC Ltd, giving clients the security of a registered company with more than a decade of hands-on experience behind it.
The company was founded to bring modern construction to Uganda. Its purpose is simple: to take the homes, buildings and spaces people imagine and bring them to life. Muchana aims to be a trendsetter in Ugandan construction, introducing modern designs, methods and standards of finish.

Milestones
- 2010
Muchana begins operating, taking on its first design and construction projects.
- 2024
5 June: incorporated as Muchana Engineering – SMC Ltd with URSB (Reg. No. 80034291767195), registered office in Mukono.
- 2026
Started a two-storey (G+1) residence with a lift shaft and servants' house at Kyesereka, Mukono District.
